Tikka t3x stock screw wrench size

What size wrench to remove the stock from tikka t3x lite. I need to get the stock off so I can get some silicone under the stock so it won't rust.

Thanks!

Is it actually odd? When figure it out, get another one for your field gear. If you don't have one, you should one for home anyways. Man is measure by his tools.

Try a Torx T-25 and if you expect to maintain accuracy check the torque specifications. I "think" around fifty to fifty-two Lb In. There is also a procedure to put the rifle back together.
Line up the Recoil Lug in the stock with the cutout in the receiver.
Lightly thread in the receiver action screw and tang screw. Just a little tight.
Hold the rifle muzzle pointing up and gently tap the butt stock on the floor several times. This should settle the action and let you know the alignment is correct.
Once the action is seated apply the torque.

The seating procedure is typical for most rifles. Make sure you correctly torque the action screws as the stress and how it is distributed plays a role in the accuracy.
