1911 sight adjustment pusher
I have an issue with needing to move the sight on one of my 1911s.
Two shooters have shot the gun and the gun prints left. In your opinion, who makes a quality "pusher" for 1911 Novak/Heinle style sights? One of my guns has a ceramic finish and I do not want to screw it up by tapping it with a brass drift. There are several makers who offer a tool, but I am curious what you recommend. Thanks! Kinda sux that you only have one sight to adjust. However, if the idea of having the/a correct tool on hand for rainy days and emergencies and friends- I have and trust this one from Brownells: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=1...SAL-SIGHT-TOOL None of them are cheap, and some folks may recommend a brass or nylon (some type of synthetic) punch and a mallet. There may not be anything wrong with that approach, however, the P500 has teflon jaws and does not mar... at least not yet- on anything of mine. I just feel better about using the right tool for the job.

Thanks for the reply. I have several 1911 style pistols and many of my friends have similar guns.
I expect I will probably have the "community" tool for me and my friends. I am considering the Kaiser Products UNI-2000L. It isn't cheap but looks to be pretty solid. Geetarman |

I like this one, using the nylon tip. Cheap, too.
