Best gun / rifle cleaning supplies
So what's in your gun cleaning kits? I just added some very high dollar 60's browning shotguns and a mouser .270 that I need to keep Perty. What would be good to use on the metal to retain the nice factory finish on the barrel and wooden pieces?
I do a good bit of shooting at the range (civilian and in the military) and I need some stuff to have on the range, a good clp and solvent... What's in your kits? |

Boretech makes some good cleaning solvents, oils and protectants but buy them from a major retailer. Their shipping and handling prices are kinda high, so save yourself some cash that way.
Also look at www.slip2000.com as they make some good products.

Shooter's Choice makes a good solvent (and a good grease for your hinge pins). I spray the outside metal with Remoil and wipe with a rag and use Howard's Feed N Wax on stocks with an oil finish
