Thought this was a pretty good video showing off how quiet a .308 from a Bolt gun can be.

Videos are a very poor way to determine how quiet a silencer is. The audio is never able to properly convey how it sounds in real life.

From direct experience, suppressed subsonic 308 from bolt rifle of 20 in barrel is extremely quiet. While agreeing with videos are poor representation, this video actually appears to minimize the differences because of inability to capture just how loud an unsuppressed supersonic report is.
