Any Thoughts on AIMSURPLUS.COM

HI,
Thinking of buying a rifle from AIM Surplus this will be my first internet purchase of a gun online. I would like some feedback on this company. BTW I did a search and found one tread that had two of two postives.
Thanks
Mark

I had good luck with them the two times I ordered from them. I would do business with them again.

Thanks

I feel better now about ordering from them. I ask my FFL about doing a transfer and he said "WE DON"T DO THAT ANY MORE" "TOO MUCH PAPER WORK" I am pissed. As much business I have done with him in the last year and he won't even do this for me. He has sold his last item to me.
sorry for the rant

I have ordered from AIM before and have been quite happy with the results. I live close enough to drive to their shop in OH and have even picked up a few firearms at the store. I would certainly recommend them.

mparris71, if you are looking at their milsurp stuff, get a C&R license and order from them direct and have it shipped to your front door.

C&R

Logansdad,
Its not C&R. But getting my C&R is something I am going to do. Maybe one day get a FFL. I hate the 1968 gun laws

Another good experience here. I bought one of the Israeli surplus BHPs. Great service.

Hello mparris71,
A few people over at surviviors sks board give AIM the thumbs up!
I thought I read on one of these boards that in oder to keep a FFL
that if requested the dealer had to do so many tranfers per year?
I don't know if it's true or not.
I do know if a dealer was not willing to help me out, that dealer just lost me as a customer forever. In business forever is a very long time.

Aim has always been very good to deal with, and the one time they made a mistake they bent over backwards to correct it. Hey, my first post, I like the format, love the balloon text telling me what's inside when I point to a link!

OOOPS! This thread's over a year old, story of my life!

I really like them. I constantly check their site because they snag some excellent deals on ammo. I've found SS109 and M855 green tip, steel core penetrator, 5.56 NATO ammo there for reasonable prices. I ordered some from them that was manufactured by FN. I haven't had any duds from it yet, and I'm still working on my first of three cases. Great site, great customer service, great in general.

I purchased two rifles from them recently, a K31 and a Mauser. Both were very nice for the price. I have since ordered an Enfield and am contemplating another K31 and/or a SKS. So, since I think repeat business says a lot for a company, you could say I like them.

I've purchased a Mosin M-44 and a Yugo SKS from them so far. The delivered guns were even better than the description. I'm very happy with them.
