Just recently, when logging out there is a message telling the user that the
site is temporarily down and will be back in ten minutes with a link to this fictitious character's site.I thought the admins might like to know. |

The admins put it there.
But it shouldn't come up just because you log out, so far as I know. It doesn't come up when I log out, using Safari. |

The message was an old one from back when TFL was moving servers. The message has been fixed. It's a 50x error page, triggered either when there's some (unusual) server error, or when you request a lot of php pages in a short amount of time. If that page weren't there, you'd get a pure text, and more cryptic, 50x error message instead.
The "fictitious character's site" happens to be youtube. It's an embedded youtube video.

Okay, that's odd. Apparently logging out triggers a 50x error. Not sure why. <cave>Keep testing.</cave>
Oh. I see why. Will be fixed shortly.
