Straight Seating 45 ACP

Just wanted to let you know , if your getting that bullet bulge on one side from not setting the bullet perfectly on top of the case . Look at the Lyman M Die for straight walled cases , worked great for me . Hope this could help smeone out there .

It's not in the seating die but the M die is a expander die and instead of a flare it creates more of a square step for the bullet base to sit on . Bullet seats straight inside the case . Worked perfect, the measured OD of the flare/ step case is .473. Just enough to position the .451FMJ bullet without over flaring . Then seating is very smooth without that uneven bulge at the bullet base .
