It happens to the best of them. Ruger is issuing a recall on some 9mm hand guns.
Ruger American® Pistols chambered in 9mm with serial number prefixes “860” and “862” are subject to this Safety Bulletin.

Ruger has probably had more recalls than any other manufacturer over the last 10-15 years. But that isn't all bad. Toyota has had more recalls than any other car/truck manufacturer. Both companies are making an effort to make sure it is RIGHT. Can't say that about all manufacturers. And they do build a lot of guns so the odds are they will have more recalled.
