Can't determine what's wrong with my Surefire flashlights

I've got a 9Z and a 6P that just quit working. I have a 9P that still works fine, so I swapped bulbs, the button cap, made sure the batteries were good. When I put the 9Z parts on the 9P barrel (for lack of the correct term), they work fine. When I put the 9P parts on the 9Z barrel, it doesn't work.

Any ideas? What am I missing?

what bulb p60 or 61?
