I just noticed this thread was started 5 years ago.

In any event, see this video from Clint Smith on defensive shotguns. He shows that with a little practice, even single barrel shotguns can be formidable defensive weapons.

I just bought a used Stoeger silverado in 20ga today. I cant wait to get it to the range.

Video is interesting. I have to get my remington SPR loosened up a bit so I can reload it at shoulder level.
