I'm going off what the Midway website says (do a google search for "midway winchester 780") and by what a local gun store owner told me. I still have a pound and a half of the stuff and really like it, it did very well in my 7WSM with 168 grain bullets, but I can't see working up any new loads with it unless my information is incorrect.

The only difference you should see between a 24" and 26" barrel is a small drop in velocity, like 30-60 fps. I've never used R25 or Retumbo but have read good reports from both.
