martin or mortin .22 bolt action
Anyone have any information on this rifle. It is a bolt action with a bolt that is bent by the ball so the handle looks like a z shape. A lgs took it in on trade no mag or trigger guard wondering if it would make a good project gun. Thanks in advance

The marking may read "Marlin", a large manufacturer of rifles and shotguns. Some good pictures and more marking information would be necessary to help identify the gun for sure. As to whether any gun might make a "project" gun, that depends on how much time and money you want to spend on the "project" and whether the result is likely to be a nice gun with some value or worthless junk.
