Local dealer charges $369 for Rem 870, too much?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a shotgun and after searching I narrowed it down to Winch 1300, Mossb 500, Rem 870, or Benelli Nova.
I didn't get to see the Benelli, but I liked the Rem 870 for the grip on the pump, the Winch felt cheap like it was waiting to slice my fingertips off when pumping it.
The dealer had the Rem 870 express?, short barrel, all black for $369, which I thought was high. I have heard many people speak of getting used ones for $200, or even $250.
Am I looking in the wrong area, or is that the right price? Thanks

Yup---way too much for an Express. Try Wally's.

Look somewhere else. That price is ridiculous.

Wonder if he is selling any at that price. Guess it depends on who walks in. Some folks don't have a clue but they do have bucks.

Let your fingers do the walking. Call all the dealers in your area and ask if they have any used 870s and for how much.

Check the bulletin boards at local ranges, and the ads in the paper.

That price is avaricious.

Walmart $250 out the door, Dicks has a two barrel combo for $350 (slug and regular).

The expresses are 260 at Dicks sports.

Definitely waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much. Maybe not if it were a Wingmaster.

Dealer cost is about $235, so he make a killing if he is selling them at that price.

I picked one up used and in almost new condition for $169.

Does anyone know of any dealers in NE FL or SE GA who have used 870 police style in stock?
