Two new toys came home with me.

Over the years I had cut my handgun calibers down to 45 and 9mm for simplicity.

Well, I decided to add 380 back for size and ease of use for their small size so my wife will practice more with guns she will carry instead of pilfering my 1911s and such while we are at the range.

I can't have just one gun or two so I'm buying a couple at a time for diversity sake. LOL! These arrived at the same time today and I already had the grips for the Bersa waiting on her when she got home. Talons are being put on the cw380 tonight and MagGuts 6-7+1 mag springs are already in.

Nice, congrats. I like the Kahrs and I have had my eye on that Bersa Thunder cc. Both will conceal easily.

Nice Bersa.

That's a nice looking Bersa. I had one but after a trip to the "warranty" shop I passed it on. I think if it had looked that nice I may have hung on to it.
Sweet.

Life is good.

That Bersa looks pretty classy. I've never seen one with laminate grips before.

Those .380 Kahrs are tiny!

I've been thinking pretty hard about picking one up. I'm torn between one of those and some flavor of LCP. The LCP's are just so darn cheap, but the Kahr trigger (or at least on my MK9) is quite pleasant and appropriate. There's also some degree of hate for the pronounced corners and edges compared to the LCP's curves, but I'm not convinced it's relevant.

Let us know how it shoots!

Have you had many rounds through the Kahr yet? I know some of the .380 pistols had issues with light primer strikes. I almost bought one but had that issue on a rental gun -- later tried one owned by someone at my range and had similar issues.

Internet forums seemed to regard the Kahr .380 as a bit of a gamble.

I ask because I really liked it a lot and have seen them equipped with Crimson Trace laser guards. They're great little pistols, just wondering about reliability.

I'm curious how that Bersa looks for you. I had a less than stellar experience with mine, but it looks like the model you got may have solved one of my major problems with it. The external trigger bar on mine would get hung up on the grips and cause all sorts of firing failures.

You really made a couple of great choices. I would have no worries about the Kahr and go on over to the Kahrtalk forum for a lot of good information. The Bersa being larger and heavier will be a great training gun.
