Value of WWII FN Hi-Power Mag?

I've got one I'm going to sell, but don't really know what to ask for it.

Light grey park or phosphate finish with some wear, straight-splitback baseplate with no drain hole, aluminum follower, functions perfectly.

Markings:

WaA103 and 7 on lower spine
H on front, in the middle

I looked on gunbroker and googled around the web, but didn't see anything to compare it to. If one of y'all could give me even a ballpark figure, I would appreciate it.

Can't give you a number for the fiftysome years it was around before I got it, but I've used it as a rangemag for about 7 years (thought it was Canadian for a long time). Not extremely heavy use, I don't like loading mags much so I bring a pile of them when I shoot my HP. One cycle per rangetrip, maybe 1.5 rangetrips/month average (highly variable so that's a guess).

Spring still feels a bit stiffer than a brand new Mec-Gar. Runs like a champ.

But it's certainly not a pristine uncycled example.

... Sigh. It's served you just fine up until now, and if it wasn't for you looking extremely closely at it; it probably would have never have been noticed, and never have been an issue. It's only the history that's bothering you? Well... You could either get over it, or sell it at the cost to replace it.

When your are dealing with market value on items, you will never get "what it is worth"

You will always get either "too little" (wow, I stole that one, nyuk nyuk/I cant believe thats all I got for that) or "too much" (wow, I cant believe what I got for that/wow I cant believe what that guy paid for that).

One of my ways in evaluating the esoteric is to find a specialist dealer/collector in the item and subtract 20-40%

It's called the blow the dust off ratio. Any time ya'll want to turn your crap into cash, let me know. You may get too littl/too much
