Sig m49 (P210 DK)

Christmas gift to myself, an original numbers matching Danish issued P210, m49 in their nomenclature. Delivered 1951 maybe.

Back then (1995 I think) 4 grades were offered by Hämmerli, who bought them back from Denmark and sold them in the civilian market. Grade A was 1st series delivered to HTK (Haerens Tekniske Korps / army technical corps) with high polish and wooden grips in original condition

Obviously no Swiss cross here. It’s also the only one without a half cock hammer setup

With my other similar era guns

1949 P49 (Swiss Army 1st yr issue) / 1952 P210-3 Police Lausanne
1951 (?) m49 Danish Army / 1951 P210-1 civilian version

And I took them all four to the 25 meters indoor range

m49

210-3

P49

210-1

The wood has a very nice grain on those grips. But did you change them before shooting? In the target pictures, the gun seems to have different wood.

You sir have a good eye.
I changed the grips after shooting the gun, the original ones are someone dirty and I had a nicer pair for the beauty shots. I’ll clean the originals ones.

Some of the Danes made it to America back when, and was fortunate to get one. Actually like to shoot the newer 210A more, but jusat a personal preference.

Prachtig. Wunderschon. Maybe you were near St. Gallen in October?

No Umlaut is available except on the iPhone.

I bought it from Kessler Kreuzlingen, it was unsold in his last auction
