Bought a new Winchester Model 70

Decided I wanted a new dedicated deer rifle, so I bought a new Winchester Model 70 in 7mm-08. I really like the quality of the rifle, I'm sure I'll enjoy it once I get to the range and put a few rounds through it. Put a set of Leupold base/rings on it and am waiting for a Bushnell 4200 elite scope to arrive.

Well, I'm pretty sure I'll be doing the same in the next month, but mine will be a .308 or 30-06. Keep us posted on this one.

I'm still kicking around the notion of an M77 or X-Bolt, but I'm really leaning toward the Win. 70.

Congrats, she's a beauty.

I got one of those new FN Model 70s Featherweights in 270 when they first came out, I love it. I have a lot of Model 70s but I think the new FN model is the best of the lot.

Accurate and the action is smoother then a prom queen's thighs.
