Anyone hunt deer with the casull 240 grain xtp mags

If so how do they perform. So far they been very accurate in my gun at the range. I am driving them just under 1700 fps out of my super redhawk. I really want a deer with the casull this year so hence all my casull questions

I have killed 1 deer with that bullet in my Casull. Front of the chest at 25 yards. He ran about 35 yards and folded up. Never recovered the bullet. Killed him quick and damage to the lungs was tremendous. I too was getting great accuracy with the bullets.

My Super Redhawk wears a Burris 2-7 with the posi-lock option. It has an extra screw that locks the reticle in place after you sight in. The 454 destroyed the first scope I put on it after a couple hundred rounds.
