When i first got into cans, i wanted a kind of “do it all can”. So i bought a Octane 45, thinking i could cross-deck it on 9mm, 40s&w and 45acp.

It worked good on my 45…good on my 9mm, but was HORRIBLE on my 40’s. Im not sure it was higher un-corking pressure or what the reason was, but i got A huge amount of port noise and blowback. I had hoped to use it on my HD pistol (at the time) a G23. That meant middle of the night, no eye protection type of scenario. No WAY!!! A single shot blew so much crap out of the ejection port and into my face with stinging velocity, it would have definitely affected my vision.

I cant imagine how bad a full power 10mm would be

If you absolutely HAVE to use a 10mm suppressed, get the most internal volume you can possible get. Those gasses have to go somewhere. I just didnt like them going in my face.
