Form 20 Question....

I'm moving to a new state. I filled out a Form 20 in duplicate and emailed it to BATFE for 2 NFA items I have. How log does it usually take them to give you permission to move your firearm to a different address?

Also, will BATFE send me the permission slip in the mail, or just email respond to me.

in quite a while. But five years ago it took about 10 to 14 days for them to return the form to me with "approved" stamped on the bottom. I'd call them if you're in a rush. I think there is a fax option.
