My new, cheap, low profile takedown carbine case
I spotted this 24" tripod case in the camera store. It was only $24, seems well made and I knew it could be useful for carrying other things as well as my tripod.
Here it is loaded up, looking like any old camera accessory bag. But is it? Plus the pocket in front will fit my 25 round cartridge belt or even a a couple of 50 round boxes of .357 magnum JSPs. |

I like the bags for those folding lawn chairs that last a couple of years. The chair breaks way, way before the carry bag for it usually. Heck most of them come with a shoulder strap even! If I want a bit of extra padding I use one of those closed cell foam mats sold at the "Mart Brothers" for yoga.
