Problem with a Hakko multi-reticle site.....

I purchased a Hakko Panorama multi-reticle site and reticle worked for like a day. I never mounted it on anything because I wanted to get used to the iron sites of my ar that I was going to mount it on before going fancy with the dot site. But when I finally went to mount it the site doesn't work, so I figured maybe it needs a new battery but that didn't work either. The company is in japan, does anyone know if there is a distributor here in the states that does exchanges or repair.

Try maybe exchanging it from the place you bought it? If they're good guys, they'll understand and replace it considering you never even used it while shooting.

Try using an eraser on the contacts and if that doesn't work check Hakko's site http://www.hakko-japan.co.jp/optical/english/indexe.htm or email them at [email protected].

I have 3 of them and never had any trouble.

Could be a factory defect. Return it to place of purchase.
