New S&W 1911s...

Looks interesting, anyone going to buy one of these?

This looks like it would be good for carry:

Stainless with a Melonite finish; I wish that had been available when I bought my SW1911, as the regular blued finish sucks.

I might have to consider trading up to this one sometime this year

I'm just mad that they're making their frames to spec now with regards to the MSH. I have an earlier gun with the unsightly gap.
