300 win mag based wildcats

Does anyone know of any .25 or .243 wildcats based on the 300 Win mag case? I recently acquired a mark X in 300 and would like to rebarrel it in something different.

How about a 257 WBY Mag or 264 Winchester Mag, then you won't have to form your brass. Oh, I forgot about the 240 WBY Mag.

wildcats

Sir:
Get P.O.Ackleys book - there are probably many there - and many calibers have reamers made now.

Good options, as are 7mm RemMag or 338 WinMag, or any of the WSM rounds, or if you woant something different, a 404 Jefffreys.

240 Weatherby Mag has the same head size as a 30-06. In fact, except for the belt it is almost identical to the 6mm-06.

Yep. I was thinking since it was belted....
So, I guess his .243 wish is out unless he wants to form his own brass for a 6MM Ackley Magnum or similar.
