I have an older Sierra 50th Anniversary edition manual!

Sierra 130gr S/Point Boat tail and flat base SP bullet OAL 3.300 using H4831 min 53.7gr max 59.5gr!!

Sierra 140gr SP Boat tail OAL 3.300 using H4831 Min 50.9gr Max 57.9 gr!! Start low and work up in .3gr increments, do not use a maximum charge unless you do a proper work up beginning with the starting load!! No short cuts!! Make sure you use a magnum primer with the slower burning powders!! Further, I would suggest you buy a current manual to help select the proper charge for what ever powder you choose to use and not depend on other people to supply you with the correct min and max charge!! Before you do anything read the manual from cover to cover first.. William

Do a Google search for: Sierra 270 Win PDF
there are a few links with pdf files just for 270 Winchester from the Sierra manual.
I do like to have the Manual and recommend Sierra's manual.

Also you can contact Rich Macholz with Sierra, he's pretty cool sharing his thoughts and pdf.

TLewis81,

While some boards ignore copyrights, we don't, so putting up manual pictures is not allowed without getting the author's permission first. See the board policy, here.

Quoting a load or two is not a problem, but a whole manual entry is. As mentioned, call Sierra and they will hook you up.
