Bill Davis custom 38 spl. sight in?
just got a Bill Davis custom rugar 38 spl. needs sighted in. the front sight adjusts to 7--25--50 yds. at what distance should i do the initial sight in?

At whatever distance you want to shoot it.

Sounds like an Aristocrat Tri-Set.
If so, it has a small screw in the front sight for each PPC range. I would start with the rear set for windage and low but not on bottom to allow adjustment for conditions. Then adjust the 7 yard elevating cam screw for that or other close range and work your way out. |
