I have a Savage Model 99C serial A3363XX. It has the gold trigger. It's in .308 Win.

I'm just curious about the age of the rifle, and what, if any, significance there is to the gold trigger.

Thanks.

My records indicate that the Savage 99C is different, in that, it has a clip magazine instead of a rotary magazine. and was made from 1965 to Date. Keep in mind, the mfg'r date (to Date) is taken from a very old book and I am not sure if it is in fact mfg'd today.

Thank you very much.

Can anyone comment on the gold trigger?
