Beretta 92 question

Can someone provide the physical dimension of the factory recoil spring for a Beretta 92? Outside diameter and free length, please.

I have read statements from Beretta gurus far more knowledgeable than I am that the length of the stock "F" model Beretta mainspring has varied over the years. Different mainsprings with different coil thicknesses and numbers of coils may have the same pound rating but somewhat different lengths.

An approximate length would be helpful. I'm more concerned with the outside diameter of the spring.

OK, if I labelled my springs correctly, these dimensions are from a stock mainspring from a Beretta 92FS, circa 2005 or so:

Length: 2.581", 65.6 mm
Outside diameter: .258", 6.59 mm
Number of coils: 29
Coil diameter: .044", 1.13 mm

Edit: sorry for my mistake. I thought you were asking about the mainspring. My Beretta 92FS currently has the gold finish titanium nitride recoil spring as sold by Beretta. It measures 5.28" in length with an outside diameter of .380". It has 29 coils with a coil diameter of .040".

Length is 5 1/4" and diameter is .380 or a whisker over 3/8" hope it helps
