Leupold IMS vs Aero (Standard vs Extended vs SPR) Scope Mounts

..need rings or a mount for my AR15 (Aero 16" mid-length) build. But I've a concern--not sure if it's legit or not--with clearance of the scope eyepiece over a Diamondhead D-45 flip-out BUIS. ..was going to go with either Leupold's Mark 2, 1-piece or 2-piece Integrated Mounting System but am concerned because each would put the eyepiece only about a mere 1/10" above the D-45. ..not sure if that'd ever become a problem or not. But by switching to an Aero mount I'd gain another 1/10" of clearance. If one of the Leupolds (2-pc rings vs 1-pc mount) is superior--not sure as I'm new to ARs--I guess I could go with it & install risers if it ever presented a problem. But for now I'm leaning toward an Aero mount. They have the Standard, Extended (pushes scope 1" forward) & the SPR (pushes scope 2" forward). Can anyone guide me as to what would probably better fit my needs for this plinker? Well, anyway, I guess it's a plinker. ..shooting paper @ 100 to 200 yds.
