Thanks I really appreciate the info so far. I visited the SASS web site for the rules and have been "watching" the SASS Wire (haven't posted since I have developed and alias), but am unsure of calibers that are acceptable. I have been researching and EMF, Uberti, and Cimarron all have revolvers available in 45 acp. Since I already reload that caliber, it seems a logical choice. Is it acceptable? Thanks.

45 ACP is legal in SASS. I practice with ACP as my Dillon is set up for it and if I have time before a match I run some 45 Colt on a single stage press.

As long as that 45 acp is throwing a lead bullet down range you are fine. Had several of our cowboys experiment with schofield and acp rounds in the beginning. I think they are both shooting 38 specials now.
