.44AMP carbine conversion kit
A limited run by Max Gera that was inspired by the Luger version. No relation, and I wish I had the bucks for the kit.
Installed kit:

DROOL!!!!
Any idea how many units were made?
Cost today? (if any for sale?) Neat idea. The hanger for the forend appears to secure with a pin thought the frame where the takedown latch is, and the buttstock attachment wraps around the frame underneath the grips. No modification to the pistol frame appears necessary. Much classier than the Alaskan model, which was a 16" barrel and a frame mounted tubular stock. If that kit needs a good home, I have a "spare" Auto Mag I would allow to be converted. Sadly, it probably costs as much as my house. Thank you for the pics. Very nice!

Looks like this is a current project. Seems like he is taking orders. The link I found doesn't have contact info.

Max is taking orders for the kits. $4500 will get you one headspaced to your bolt. It would be a great investment if you have the coin.

Needs a peep rear sight instead of the 'U' style sight.
And make sure the bolt does not pop you in the face when it fires. Deaf

.44 AMP Carbine Conversion
I just found this forum and this thread. I am indeed still making the Auto MagX carbine conversion kits; as well as scope mounts and barrel assemblies.
For additional information, you can contact me at [email protected] or see my website Auto-MagX.com Max Gera |
