Value of Block Tin?

I no longer cast bullets and I would like to sell off my tin ingots. Can anyone suggest a fair price to charge? There's a guy selling a 50-pound lot on e-bay and is asking $1595.00 or $31.00 a pound. That seems awfully high.

Thanks for your help.

I would try an internet search for metal prices. That ought to get you the current prices, then you could add/subtract depending on your specifics.

even on the COMEX tin runs about $9-$10 a pound.

It is NOT a cheap metal.
