I'm trying to help a friend with some background info on a pair of .22 revolvers he's come across. One's stainless, the other blue. Both are 9-shot, 5 1/2" barrels, DA, plastic grips, in about 95% condition. On the right side of the barrel is High Standard Mfg. Corp., Hayden, Conn. USA Ser# 14008XX and 15646XX
Approximate value, if any?
Year of manufacture?

Any help, info, or advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

Foxfire, the High Standard Double Nine with serial number 14008XX was made in 1964 and serial number 15646XX was made in 1965. My records show the Double Nine was offered in either a blued or nickel finish, not stainless steel. A blued Double Nine in 95% condition could be worth about $160 and about $170 with a nickel finish in similar condition. Hope this helps!

Steven,

Thanks for the quick response.
I'll pass the info on. Sounds like he got a great deal on them.
I appreciate the help.
