Need a belt - not a dress belt
Seems like there are a lot of dress belts out there, but is there something available that is in the middle ground between a dress belt and one that is......umm.....something a swat officer would wear? I want a good CASUAL belt.

My favorite is Rafters. They are very well made belts, good looking, and suitable for either dress, casual or wearing a holster.

If your looking for a good leather belt I like the dillon precision leather belts. Yep, the same guys that make reloading presses.
I have been using a brown 1 1/4" for dress and a black 1 1/2" for jeans about 3 years now. They cost about $45. They hold up well and don't look like your going to a swat class reunion. I wear the wilderness belt for work and it's a great belt. Personally I think it's better suited to work than a social environment. edited: Those rafter belts above look real nice too and the price is right. |

If you go out to the woods at all check out Liger. They are new to the Maxpedition line. It is weird polyurethane-polyester blend that is impervious to water/mildew/rot!! Worth checking out. Good luck.

just about every leather gun belt made is somewhere between a Wilderness tactical style belt and a full on dress belt...take your pick....

I just got a new belt from http://store.yahoo.com/rlcompanyusa/tugu.html
ie, Tucker Gun Leather, and I'm impressed with the quality. I got the 1.5 inch Bullhide and it seems to be more than up to the task of handling my cc holster and mag pouch. Walter |

Rafter-S Black Elephant is exactly what you need. Buckle is changeable. Non-inflated price like most the other makers.
