Durabaking a rifle

i have a old mauser 98 that has been re-barreld to 6mm remington that i want to refinish. the barrel is stainless, the reciever has all the bluing blasted off it so it has no protection. I figured i would durabake it parker grey so i can get the entire thing the same color, and protected. now after i ordered the durabake i tryed to fit my disasembled barreled reciever into the oven.....dosent fit. any ideas on a home built oven? or any other ways i can heat this baby up properly?

Make friends with your nearest pizza store owner.

fill oven with bricks, heat to desired temperature
stack around coated barrel, cover with a roll of pink insulation, instant oven

I have a shop that does gun finishes do it. He does it all, and the results are great.

Before that, I made a friend at the local powder coat shop. I use GunKote, but it should be close to the same process. Blast it, warm it with a heat gun, spray it, let it set up, take it to the powder coat shop for an afternoon in the oven. Worked pretty well.
