170 Grain Norma Tipstrike Load Data

Got some 308 170 grain Norma Tipstrike bullets. In the Norma load data, it only shows Norma powders. Does anyone know of any load data with standard Hodgdon powders? Hodgdon does not list this bullet in their load data either.

Use hodgdon's data for a 168gn bullet. start low and work your way up.

Yep. Military 30 cal bullets typically have a 3-grain weight tolerance. It's not enough to matter in view of the variation you get due to other factors, like powder charge variation and position in the case at firing.

Yeah, I was looking at 168 grain loads and only see about a grain of difference in most loads for Varget.

Good news is I got my powder dispenser set up, finally. Thanks again Shadow9mm for the help.
