Searching from tapatalk won't work, so it's been disabled.
Probably the simplest solution, though it would behave differently from the default vbulletin search, would be to change searches through tapatalk to use google. A more complicated solution would be to get tapatalk's search to use the same sphinx search backend that the rest of vbulletin uses. I'm thinking about buying tapatalk so I can work on one of those options. However, tapatalk needs to die, and vbulletin needs a nice mobile css skin. Unfortunately, unless there's a free one on vbulletin.org or something, that's probably more work than the alternatives of just fixing tapatalk search.

Maybe it's an add-on or unauthorized mod at ArcheryTalk, but they have a TapaTalk search function.

OP try entering your search query in Google as the following example: Remington 870 :www.thefiringline.com The subject you want to search, colon, then the site address.

You're partially correct nate45, but I believe the query needs "site" in it to limit the search to a particular website.
So the Google search would look like this: site:thefiringline.com Remington 870 (It doesn't work properly if you use www.thefiringline.com, and the site parameter has to be first in the query.) |

Thanks Mal, I should have used Google myself, instead of my faulty memory.
