Bolt Rack for inside gun safe door

I'm looking for a safe accessory that I'm personally not certain if it has yet been invented. To illustrate, I've drawn a crude picture and attached it to this post (which is my first attempt to attach a picture, so bear with me).

Like most safes, mine is limited in space; the slots are so close together that bolt action rifles pose a particular problem, but with the bolts removed, they fit quite nicely. Right now I simply lay the bolts out on a shelf within the safe, but that takes up valuable space, while my door interior is completely empty. the down-arrows in the illustration represent pins that would slide down into the carpet on the door; I suppose velcro could also work.

I'm not much of a metalworker, or I'd make it myself. Does anyone know of a product like this? for that matter, does anyone have a similar issue with storing bolts inside the rifle for lack of space?

That look like it would work OK. Me, I took the bolts out for the same reason you did, pack more guns in the safe, but I wrap them in gas paper, lightly oiled, and box them up with a label. I get the boxes at a local coin shop, sturdy and just the right size, it's made for a stack of coins in 2x3 slab holders.

I found strip magnets covered with fabric work well.....use them to hold extra shotgun barrels, magazines, and other items.

Presently I’m using cup hooks with airline tubing over them for protection
Also have a nylon web strap running between 2 outer bolts on the door
have a holster w/gun and a large clip on it
They do sell panels that will hang on the door with pockets
kind of pricey for how they are made but do provide a lot of storage
haven’t bought on yet but have been thinking about it

Perhaps ??

Yes,
I use Rod-holders. These are plastice with foam inserts, that you attach to a boat. Each rack has about four slots that will hold the bolts or anythig else you can insert onto each slot. I also don't see why you couldn't use a wooden cue-stick holder and just turn it on it's side. ....

By the way, I mounted mine on the sidewall as opposed to the door. I had plenty of room. ....

Be Safe !!!
