anyone loading ( regularly ) for .416 Rigby ???
litterally my custom rifle project is about at 50%... the laminated stock should be here this week, & the barrel work, trigger assembly & scope mount should be done in the next two weeks, the custom magazine box just needs the follower to complete....
... so time to start thinking about some loads... this will just be a "fun gun" untill I get to do a bucket list bear hunt in Alaska... I have 40 Hornady .416 Rigby cases & a couple Norma & Federal loaded cartridges ( used to fit the custom magazine ) had a buddy that said he'd even seen a Trailboss load for a light practice load, but I've never run across the Recipe... probably will buy Hornady bullets at least for the "fun shooting" part, as they are cheaper so... anyone else playing with the old African cannon ???

thanks for the link... might be interesting in my 338 & 375 magnums as well
... hmmmm... wonder if my powder measure can measure that kind of volume??? looked again... & see I should be ok... my custom 53 caliber uses 30 grains of Trailboss... the powder drops really fast in the measure at that volume though...LOL
