Russian wooden ammo box???

Picked this up from a client. Did a little research, and found out it's probably Russian..
It's unopened and in good condition.
Is it collectable? Worth?
Thanks in advance.

My photo cropping skills suck. I'll try to get better pics up soon.

Looks like 7.62x54R made in 1971. Should have two spam cans with 440 rounds each. This ammo was everywhere a few years back and cheap, now it's harder to find and more expensive. People still shoot it, so I would say not collectable, but probably worth about $400.

Here's a current listing:

The box itself isn't worth much. Ammo inside would be worth more.

the only "collector" value I can see is that it is unopened. To the right collector that might add a bit of value.

If you open it, then its just one more case of Combloc ammo..and worth only the current market value of the ammo.

After the very first ammo shortage the Czech silver tip 7.62x54r by the 880rd case was $85 delivered. I thought the surplus ammo would never dryup. Lol
