Traditions Hawken question
My Father-in-law just gave my wife a NIB Traditions Hawken .54cal rifle. Apparently, it was purchased several years ago and then shoved under a bed still in the original packaging.
We don't shoot black powder, and I know almost nothing about this rifle. Is it decent? Is it worth trying to sell? My wife doesnt want it, and, since it has no real sentimental family value, thinks she would rather have the money. Any info on this rifle is appreciated. Greg |

Which variation is it, there were several models in both flint & percussion?
Pictures, or a full description would help anyone trying to evaluate it for you.

Go for it !!
Yes it has value and worth selling. Even though the .50 is more common and desireable, there are lots of folks that are looking for a .54 traditionals as "mass" kills. AS far as quality, they are just about, in the middle and no reason to put it down because of this or it's caliber. List it in the BP sale section and pistures are in order. .....
Be Safe !!!
