What is this?

So I bought $188 dollars worth of new mounting equipment for my scope, Bushnell Elite 3200 Tacticool Mil-Dot. I go the outdoor ramge in Dare county, shoots great, sights in fine, holds a group, then I get home and find this inside my scope...

As Bushnell is closed for the day, any advice is welcome!

Is that NOT supposed to be there?

NO worries. Bushnell will set you up right.

Lucky you. You get to go back to the range to sight it in again!!

I've got no clue what the hell that is. Give Bushnell a call in the morning and I'm sure they'll take care of it.

Besides, if you bought $188 of mounting equipment, at least you'll get to use it again...

Bushnell confirmed the lifetime and said simply "send it in" so I will and a good thing I found all this out in the middle of nothing season!

That's the start of a chip from a loose lens. Good thing Bushnell is setting you right.

That is a C-Clip used as a lock for a fastener with a recess, not supposed to be where it is.

That's the pin you pull to make the scope explode.
