Super blackhawk or Taurus public defender?

So here is the question.
The will states that my sister,-----who knows nothing about guns, and I already gave her a model 60-1 (engraved w/ Seattle police and badge number) and a 66-1 with my dads badge number engraved on the strap.----- Gets the gun of her choice if I agree to to it. ( they are all mine unless I agree) It has come down to two guns. ( I have just over 300 guns myself and from the will) So the two left without claim are a Taurus public defender and a Ruger super blackhawk with a "D" serial number and it is unfired. I think the taurus is unfired also.
Lets get some votes.
She would probably not do anything with either gun. She is married to an executive at a winery. ( over a million a year) She has kids, I do not. I am retired Army E7 but am happy with my life too.
What should she get????

Sounds like it comes down to sentimental value. In that case it doesn't matter. Let her chose which one she would like to keep.

Are her kids going to inherit at least some of your 300 guns from you? If not, let her have the one that will be most valuable to them.

Not to mention all the odds and ends.

If she doesn't like guns why wouldn't she just let you have both? Over 300 for you and she is a lib? What would she care? Hmmm

She is the executor of the will. She can do anything.

Keep it on the sunny side

Right now, Im going through a simular situation, although there are no firearms involved. Does't matter, as it's still "just" property and your father decided who the executor should be. Technically, these are hers, to liquidate, along with any other "stuff". These are times that can strain relationships. ....

Now, not trying to get personal but I'm sensing that they might be a family conflict. Right now, I get along great with my Sister and am helping her liquidate all "her" stuff. I'd get a fair estimate and if I wanted any, buy them. If she gives you a choice, then I'd take the Ruger.

Good luck and;
Be Safe !!!

Keep the Ruger. Ditch the Taurus.

And something else?

BTW...Marlin did not release the 336 till 1948...

If I had the list of guns that you have, I would let her have both, so she can leave them to her son.
