Is this a good deal?
Hey guys, this is my first post of hopefully many to come and I have a question for everyone. I have a Yugoslavian M59 SKS and I decided to see if I could sell it and what I could get for it. Well, within a couple of minutes of putting it online to sell it (local gun trading page on Facebook) someone offered me $200 and a Savage 110 in 300 Win Mag. Is this a good deal or not? I'm not really sure what either gun is worth. I had someone tell me that the Savage is worth around $300 but I'm just not sure. So if someone could tell me if it's a good deal or not that would be great.

Around here, lately, yugo sks will go for $400 to $550. If you have a use for the 300 mag. Go for it.

I don't have a specific use for it but I've always wanted to get into long range shooting. The only thing keeping me back is the fact that the ammo for the SKS is a lot cheaper and it's a semi auto. My only thing is that I'm afraid that I will regret it down the road.

If you enjoy shooting and long range is your goal, handloading ammo is cheaper and more accurate. I had an sks that I sold 3 years ago. My only regret is that i couldn't sell it for todays price.
