What would you consider to be the most politically incorrect, currently produced shotgun? I don't mean shotguns that qualify as AOW, but still meet the 'legal' requirements of barrel and overall length? It doesn't have to be especially 'dangerous'. It just has to look like something that diane feinstein wants to ban solely based on the look of it.

Well if you don't count the SPAS then a Rem 870 with top folding stock - sidesaddle shell holder - mag ext - rifle sights - flame decals coming out of receiver front. She only hates them because she can't put one in her purse!

Most politically incorrect shotgun????
How about this one? I think this is also one of the coolest shotguns out there. I know it would be painful to shoot, but still, it is a awesome piece..... http://www.serbu.com/shorty.htm |

This is my nomination. Not very practical but definitely politically incorrect.

The SPAS is a good vote. So is that "Master Blaster" StreetSweeper/Mac10 combo.
How about the USAS? |

Whoooooooah. I think that Master Blaster gun wins hands down. Both of those things are illegal. But it looks like a fun toy.

Mossberg 590A1, 9 shot, ghost ring sites, bayo lug, speed feed stock, right out of the box.
Hang a boyonet on it and watch Diane Feinstein squeel. |

Folks, while these are some good choices, alack and alas, you're incorrect.
The MOST Politically Incorrect shotgun is ANY shotgun held, possessed, fired, operated, etc, by a free, law abiding and responsible human being. The scary looking shotguns, and other weposn of course, get the attention, but the basic facts is that aware, ARMED and responsible people have the odd idea that they are responsible for their lives and for determining their own destiny. Those that believe they have the right and duty to control other folks' lives(for their own good,of course) find this abhorrent. To them, it matters little whether it's an ugly black Loudenboomer SP, a bolt action SS 410, or Grandpop's LC Smith grouse gun. Held by those uninclined to tolerate tyranny disguised as benevolence(for the children),all tools for resistance are evil, and those who fail to conform to Groupthink are also. |

Most Politically Incorrect? I'd say the honors go to the USMC's new Benelli M4. -- Kernel |

The Benelli M4S90 is a work of art. Benelli told me that they will not be available untill 2002. Anyone know what the price will be?

I have to second PJR's nomination. There aren't many shotguns more un-PC than the Striker/Street Sweeper, even without the popgun underneath.

I think bastiat is asking for a shotgun that is currently imported or domestically manufactured that a law abiding citizen can purchase.
I don't think low mag capacity SPAS-12 are currently being imported so I would say a low mag cap pistol gripped M1S90 or M3S90 "look" to be the most PIC (although they are OK to buy). If you get the M1 with removable chokes, you can put on the M1 Practical's factory muzzle brake or an aftermarket muzzle brake on it to make it look more menacing. The standard stock guns just don't look too "dangerous". I don't think the average citizen will be able to buy the M4 in the configuration as pictured above.

the atf has a ad in shotgun news this last issue saying you only have until the end of may to register your street sweepers as distructive devices as that is what they have been reclasified as. What a bunch of pc garbage.

Does anyone here have a Serbu Super Shorty or have shot one? Is the muzzle flash and recoil manageable?

My SPAS 15 is pretty politically incorrect, even more so when I get a scope fitted to it. I got some funny look at a clay shooting ground once... the owner and I were shooting slugs at fluorescent clay targets placed on the backstop. But... I would cast my vote for the USAS12 in full auto with 20 rnd drum mag. Kick a$$!

point308, do you live in the UK? I thought the SPAS 15 and 12 was illegal in the U.S.

Is Pancor still making the Jackhammer? Bullpup, gas-operated cassette-fed full-auto 12 gauge should give Diane Fineswine fits.
