If they don't include one with your new knife, ask them for for their free DVD. It depicts Cold Steel staff subjecting their wares to incredible abuse and demonstrations. Watch it and you'll understand why CS is the only brand of knife I'll ever buy...especially when you consider that no other knife manufacturer will make a similar video. If I'm not mistaken, you can view many segments of the video on their website {www.ltspecpro.com} and also on Youtube.

Chad: Check out Knifecenter.com. They carry the complete CS line at substantially lower prices than you'll find in the CS catalog / web site.

I agree with finding another place to buy rather than ordering direct from CS.

I like my Recon 1 also. I gave one too a friend.

I am also partial to Cold Steels TiLites.

I also subscribe to the knifecenter.

However the knife I choose to carry everday is the SOG Pentagon Elite I. I also own a SOG Pentagon Elite II with a 5" blade that I would carry into the woods or other hazardous places.

I purchased the SOGs through AFEES since I am a military retiree they give a pretty good price break there. I also puchased my Cold Steel from there.

I do subscribe to Knifecenter.
