55gr. v-max and h-335

i have the Lyman reloading manual and it doesn't have load data for the v-max as hodgdon's website does not either. I was wondering if any of you have load data for this round or a recipe that you swear by yourself. I'm shooting a 1:9 twist ar-15 using once fired brass with 55gr. HDY V-max Flat Base, H-335, and CCI 400 small rifle primers. any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I dont have an AR but I shoot the same components in my m700
I load the 55 gr vmax with h335 at 22.7 grains, from the book of hornady 7th edition this is just under the recommended max load which is 23.2 grains

Hornady's 8th Edition lists 23.2 grains of H335 as maximum for 3100 fps from a 26" 1/12 twist Winchester bolt rifle using WSR primers in Win cases. This is very conservative in my opinion. Overall recommended length is 2.250" for the 55 V-Max. I've shot the same loads with the V-Max 55 grain as with Hornady's 55 fmj's in my AR's using Hodgdon's maximum recommended load data for H335 with no pressure issues and velocities in the 3150 range in a
20" 1/7 and 1/9 barrel. Do work up your loads.

Semi auto loads and bolt action loads are very different in my Sierra manual. Max for H335 for semi is 25.7gr.@3000fps for 55gr.
Max for H335 for bolt is 27.5gr.@3300fps for 55gr. The test rifle for the semi is a colt AR with 20'' HBAR. The test rifle for the bolt gun is Remongton 600 with 24'' barrel. My manual doesnt list v-max bullets. I dont know why those other manuals list such low powder charges. If anything I thought my sierra manual is very conservative.

I've loaded a bunch of them for both my bolt and my ARs @ 25gr of H335.

I have had some good group with the H-335 & HDY 55 V-max.
Got better groups using HDY 55 V-max over Ramshot X-Terminator.

I get my best groups 3/4 inch @ 100 yds with Hornady 55 gr fmjbt and 24.5 H335
Itries the same combo with 24.3 and 24.7 H335 and the groups opened up some.
