Flint shells

anyone ever heard of it?...putting little pieces of flint in a shell.... would it work?... does it get hot enough to spark?.. is it safe?

I don't know about sparking, but I can assure you it WILL ruin your barrel in about one shot.

Flint is hard and sharp.
That will score the barrel like you won't believe.
