By far my P17 is the most robust. It's also way to heavy to lug around all the time. My Chilean mauser in 308 would be a good choice. I have a reciever sight on that one and a Timney trigger. Darn fine deer rifle.

Then again you don't feed yourself with a rifle, unless you want to starve.

Without a doubt, my HK 91. The AK of .308 rifles in a full-sized MBR. YMMV
