hello all;
My father-inlaw just gave me a box of .32 long colt. Older cardboard Remington box green and white with the cartridge info on the end in what looks like red stamped ink. The box is full (all 50 rounds). I was just wondering who chambered what for this round. I have searched through Schwing/houze Standard Catalog of Firearms and none of the colts appear to be chambered for this round. Thanks Brian |

Brian, the Colt New Pocket made from 1895-1905 was chambered in .32 Short & LC or .32 Colt New Police. Hope this helps!

If memory serves, the .32 short and Long Colt were smaller in diameter than the .32 S&W. The .32 Colt New Police was the same as the .32 S&W. Many Colts are marked simply .32 without any indication of which, but they accept .32 S&W Long.
